How is Spectrum Wellness Different from a Membership Gym ?In two major ways: Fees and we're based on a medical model 1. Spectrum Wellness charges no monthly fees. Membership gyms BANK on you not showing up. Spectrum encourages it. You pay for classes as you need them. The more classes you buy, the less the class costs you. 2. Spectrum Wellness is based on a medical model, which means physical therapists monitor all training and classes. This creates the safest environment possible. Back to TopWhat does RYT mean in regards to teachers' credentials ?If a yoga teacher is RYT certified, that means they are a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance and can teach almost anywhere in the world. They have had at least 200 hours of training in Yoga Techniques, methodology, Anatomy/Physiology, Yoga Philosophy, and Teaching Practicum. A Registered Yoga Teacher is also required to have a minimum amount of continuing education each year and hands on teaching experience. If a teacher has RYT beside their name, you can be assured they have the experience and knowledge necessary to give you an authentic safe yoga experience.
