Holly Sparks, licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and Sifu (teacher),
holds a Master of Oriental Medicine degree from the International
Institute of Chinese Medicine, with a Diplomat in Acupuncture and
Chinese Herbology from the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). She also has a Masters degree in
Health Psychology, licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and
has worked in the medical field since 1974.
In addition to her scholarly endeavors, Ms. Sparks has trained
consistently in the martial arts for over 25 years and holds a 4th level
black sash in Northern Style Kung Fu, Instructor Certification in Taiji
and Qigong, certification in Medical Qigong Therapy from IIMQ/Henan
University of TCM, and 2 black belts in International and World styles
of Tae Kwon Do. She has been teaching classes in the Chinese Martial
Arts to students of all ages and capabilities for over 17 years.
Her instructors are Master Chang-Hwa Jeong, Master Kim, Master Sifu Dave
Simeone (disciple of Grandmaster Chan Pui, Grandmaster Bo Sim Mark, and
Master Victor Fu), Master Zhuang Hui (China Wu Shu Gold Medalist), Sifu
Tom Turcotte, D.O.M., Shifu Shui Lian Yu, D.O.M, and Shifu Stan Tabor
(disciple of Grandmaster Liu Chengde).
