Mary Mahalia BrehmMary is the creative director and choreographer for Troupe Terpsichore in Colorado Springs and is the Belly Dance instructor for District 11 and Pikes Peak Community College. Mary began her journey through dance at a young age, studying many styles including ballet and hula. In 1997 she began to learn the art of Belly Dancing and its various forms. To refine her skills, she embarked upon an intensive regimen of classes and workshops given by prominent instructors throughout the country. Complimenting the beauty of this form of dance, Mary also studies yoga and is trained in several classical and folk Indian dance styles. Since 2000 Mary has shared her love of dance through teaching. As a performer and instructor, Mary is known for her precision of movement and her accessible breakdown of the fundamentals.
