Mat Pilates
Promotes mind/body connection, starting with core stability, tapping into the deeper abdominal muscles, as well as the spinal erectors. This leads to better posture, increased lung capacity (deep, healthy brething is key) and joint articulation/mobility. Also increases bone density by doing weight bearing exercise w/o impact .
Multi Level Reformer Pilates
In addition to the benfits described above, the equipment gives client a tactile sense of where their body is in space, using springs & straps to increase resistance & challenge. Also provides support when necessary, from a rehabilitative standpoint for recovering from injury or surgery. Private or group classes – all levels.
